Air dried jeans are always all hard and stiff. I love putting on a nice, fresh, hot, soft pair of jeans strait out of the dryer. It makes my balls and butt-cheeks feel great, and I'm not even trying to be funny when I say that. It feels really, really good.
Good to see someone has the balls to delve into the deep topics. Big fan of selvidge denim and you have to air dry that or it gets limp and dull like a 7-11 hotdog.
depends on the labels. My Hellokitty/evisu are hang dry all my other skater brands just get thrown in the dryer inside out as there usually pre shrunk. Ive found the higher the price the more likley its not preshrunk and you just need to drip/hang dry.
Man, I hang everything up - t-shirts, polos, jeans. Cold wash keeps your colors darker longer and generally makes everything look better. ESPECIALLY selvidge denim jeans. 501's - that's the only stuff I throw in the dryer. They look good beat.
Largely because $20 jeans from Big Box Department Store #123 in Suburbian Mall #456 are not really worth the increased time, effort and space air-drying requires.
I don't think we even have a laundromat in my city...
EDIT: Well, apartment complexes around here all have their own laundromats, but you can only use them if you actually live in the building. Usually if you rent or buy a house it comes with a washer, dryer, stove, and fridge anyway.

When I was at university I always used the dryer, it made my jeans look all hip and cool what with fading so quickly. But now i'm a basement dweller (figuratively speaking, my parents don't have a basement) there is enough room to hang stuff up to dry, plus my parents dryer isn't very good.

Laundromats aren't very common here either. And washers and dyrers are damn expensive.... it isn't common to find people who own dryers, that's why I thought the question was kinda weird. Some people don't even own washers, and clean their clothers in the old-school way
Cool. So the statement, "nobody in the world dries their jeans in a dryer" was of course a load of horse shit. I wish sometimes I wasn't told with such conviction.
