Help with 360 Gamertag(accidental deletion)

I accidentally deleted one of my gamertags that had about the same name as another one. Yeah, I was half asleep.

But now, I can see that all my game info is still on my 360, but no gamertag to go along with it. Which means none of my games recognize them, so they're basically not there.

Anything I can do about this? Can I migrate the game info into my new gamertag, or can I recreate the old one?

I think that you can go to each individual save and select 'copy' to move them to your new gamertag. You won't be able to earn any achievements on those saves any more though.

Try to recreate it. If that doesn't work, retrieve it from XBL. This will only retrieve the data up to the last time you logged on to XBL so if you aren't always connected and havn't been on a while you may lose some achievements.

Recovering your GT is, unfortunately, you're best option. If you log into XBL regularly you should be kosher. If not...
