Um, reading the Miyamoto interview (this is the one you are referencing, correct?), he was rather noncomital regarding a new Kid Icarus game. Miyamoto said he's been working with the director of Kid Icarus recently with the Revolution when asked about a new KI game. He asked the interviewer if they were to make a new Icarus game would he/she buy it. When he/she said yes, Miyamoto basically said that in that case they have to make it and they'll go call the Eggplant Wizard. It sounded more like he was joking around and that it was possible rather than actually saying that it's being made.
3D *can* be done properly, it's just difficult. I love the Maximo games. Those seem to be converted quite well to 3d.Cthulhu wrote:Unless they make a new Kid Icarus for the GBA or DS, I have a hard time believing it will be anything like the original anyway.
I sure hope the Eggplant Wizard hasn't caught the "make everything 3D" sickness too.
If done well, I might be forced to buy a nintendo console.
