Yujin Shooting Game Historic Vol.2 gashapon in...

Post by PC Engine Fan X! »

NCSX has up on their website, the cool second series of Yujin's Shooting Game Historic Vol. 2 gashapon series. It even includes the kick-ass Musha Aleste mecha suit as well. ^_~

I wonder what other STG properities will be released for Shooting Game Historic Vol. 3 and Vol. 4 gashapons?

Yeah, I just threw down for 2 sets...f*** it!

MUSHA is the stuff and I'm excited! I'm officially push-ed over the proverbial edge, and tonight I'm workshopping some unofficial rebuilds from the classic score for teh "album"; hell yes!

Hmmm.

My predictions are ships from:

Pulstar
Radiant Silvergun
Ikaruga
Thunderforce V
Einhander
Spriggan
Star Soldier
Lords of Thunder
Border Down

Those sound like pretty good canidates for the upcoming Volumes down the road. Tis a shame that Squaresoft never officially released any model kits or die-cast metal/plastic posable and articulated toys taken from the Einhander mythos. It can still be done though with Square/Enix conglomerate nowdays. (I was surprised to learn that Taito is a subsidy of them nowdays...what happened?)

I still wouldn't mind seeing such Ka-1 and Ka-2 fightercrafts taken from Mars Matrix fame and turned into such cool solid three dimensional transforming ships worthy of displaying for all to see/gawk at. Would Capcom and Takumi approve of something like that? With all the intricate parts involved in such a transformation, it really is a lot of work to figure out the logistics of constructing it into a working prototype to be ready for limited production run. Especially considering the complex level of transformation required to pull it off (on par with the same complexity of that of the cool Takara/Hasbro Binaltech/Alternators Transformers), it would be a interesting challenge to do so. After watching the cool CGI opening intro on the DC port of MM, it seems like that it could be a reality. ^_~
