Hey, im new on this forum but still hope someone will help me. About ten years ago I was playing a shmups in the arcade. It was a vertical shmups that took place in the future. I remember you could choose a pilot (almost all of them were manga style girls)and the plane which determine yours weapons. You couldnt change yous weapon after that, you could only get power ups. The first stage was in the city and the boss was a gigantic robot that kind of looks like a frog. After first atage yoy could choose the second. I remember that one was in jungle and one was in space.
Could someone please tell me the name of that game. I know this description isnt much, but there is not much I remember about it, it was long ago.

hmm, this doesnt make sense...
a few questions.
Was it in TATE (with the monitor longer than it is wide)??
How did the level select works? is it a menu between the levels or during gameplay?
Does it looks a bit like sonic wings 2 or not at all?
Where did you play this game? in europe? north america? asia?
Were the graphics impressive when you played it? (that would be around 1999 I presume)

I think it was sonic wings 2 after all. I found a screenshoots of the frog boss and it looks like it is the one. Im sure about the level selection After you finished the first stage you could choose the next. I played this game in europe so it was propably some other version of this game.
