Psyvariar 2
I think the reason Shooting is easier to play is that its easy to gauge your Netrino - just shoot up to the amount you need whenever you need. With Buzz you're using buzzing, not shots, to gauge it primarily, and that makes it tough, since it requires a good amount of mastery to manipulate Buzz that accurately.

Well, I still lurk on this thread from time to time. Buzz type is indeed about managing your bar - usually a few waves before a specific attack. For example, on the level 2 boss, you want your guarge to be at about 0% when the boss first enters the screen, so you have to work on the waves of red ships before him to get your guard right. Takes practice, but definately pays off - the shield you get from a levellup in buzz type is well over twice as long as the shooting type shield.

Right - I'm having the bravado to set up a new hi-score thread right now, so I'll edit a link in here when it's ready...
Mods, the first post on this thread hasn't been updated since April 2007, and I've tried more than once to contact Bloodflowers, so I think this one is dead. If I'm wrong though, I'll happily delete my new hi score table and let Bloodflowers continue.
EDIT: New Hi-Score Thread in place!
KindGrind - you need to go there and confirm what type you were using for one score. And you Carmen!

Oh, shit - yeah I kept meaning to get around to replying, and I failed. Please feel free to take the thread over.
