Wouldn't it make sense to just leave the London Meet thread as a meeting point?

Excellent Captain! Just posting now so I can find this little beauty easier.

And here's our team - all of whom have wasted some time down Casino Arcade:

RGC
Ravid
ill6
spadgy
Rupert H
MX7
CHI

Masamune, of Battle Of Destiny fame might be joining us too if he listens to me and DEL (or is there a limit of team numbers?).

If a mod would prefer that I'm sure we can relocate back to The Casino Arcade thread (as opposed to the London Meet one)...

The squirrel with tits was quite upsetting.

And I think that this thread and the Casino meet thread should remain seperate to avoid confusion. Might get moved to Off Topic though.

I know you're a fan hermosaguy! The old avatar is glad to be back!

And 'bandwagon' LGB? That's a bit of a serious way of describing a few of us being a bunch of silly tits!

We jumped on the tit wagon! I just fell off first.

I'm staying true to the path of the tit. I was thinking of doing a Royale banner based around the theme of mountainous East Asian tits. It might be taking the lulz a bit too far though.

So, why "Team Royale (With Cheese)" instead of say "Beef Wellington" (to be fair I don't understand what that other one is about)

It's an amalgamation of a famous film title, a famous film quote from another famous film, and a reference to the best arcade in the UK :D

Nah, the truth is we just didn't think of Beef Wellington first. :)

Apparently, our current banner doesn't comply with STGT08 regulations. Not (unsurprisingly) because it's way-too-way cool for the competition, but because it exceeds the maximum height by 13 pixels. Ooooh there'll be some rabble rousing about this in the discussion thread!

It's just a funky place to hang out and discuss the tournament with your team. I'm also hoping to encorage some internal competition along the way.

I've lost track of when I'm jesting, but joking aside I was seriously being silly...

An Masamune - that's 'Hello Captain' if you're talking to RGC

Don't worry, whatever respect you may have held for your appointed leader will soon dissolve when the scores are revealed.

'Was thinking, Since there were one or two latecomers to registration who ended up missing the boat (despite PM reminders, eh Skykid!), should we hold an internal comp in this thread to include anyone who didn't quite make it in time? All the scores could go in the OP. The alternative is that the late arrivals "naff off" and join other teams. :)

So, 19XX: The War Against Destiny...

I've cleared my Inbox, ready to receive some cunning tactics for this game. Not played this before, but I had a few credits today, and it went quite well. Anyone else taken the plunge yet? :)

I've had a go, seems like a fun game. Unfortunately this will largely be the week I miss out on (I'm going on holiday) so I will only be submitting a half-arsed score.

It was a no brainer it was going to win, especially when Varth was one of the choices, so I've been playing a few cheeky credits. I can PM you with some stuff I've learnt, but it's not exactly gold.

I haven't played this game in a year or two but this is what I came up with last time(just gave it another shot after reading the STGT thread).

(Yeah I know that was a really stupid death, there's barely any enemy fire on the screen)
I really wish we got this game on PSN/XBLA instead of Joint Strike.

Right - I exist I do! I'd been away at Leipzig Games Convention of crap modern games for work, and going mad on some deadlines, but I'm back now and paying attention!

First off - I'll give 19XX some credit love as soon as I get back tonight.

Second - to make this easier perhaps, as suggested by Cpt. RCG, we should exchange emails so we can all send messages with each other copied in rather than too much PM shenanigans. Casino Royalers - PM yours to me and I'll get that sorted.

Now I'd better get off and actually read all the STGT08 threads, so I know the rules and all that...

Excellent! I've just looked down the list of candidate games for each week, and there's even some I know how to play. I better keep my Progear Practice up - it's slipped these last weeks....

And now I'nv found all the threads and voting rules and where to post scores.

Despite the fact I'm normally reserved, quiet and dull, now I am fucking excited!

Now channel that excitement into scoring, private. That's an order! ;)

(x2postlol)

Shit, nice score Ravid! I think I'm going to aim for 5 million points. It's just a matter of no bombing, no missing and killing absolutely everything.
