Pick which one's your favorite...and yes, I stole this idea from the Takumi poll.

I would put in all the Cave games, but there's limited poll space.

Picked Guwange. Thought about DDP, but figured there would be plenty of votes.

Thought about Esprade as well, but honestly, IMHO that's the most over rated Cave shooter.

I picked DoDonPachi since it's the first manic shooter I had ever played and what really got me into shmups. DonPachi is a very close second though.

Guwange I suppose. Esparade's combo meter is ridiculous, and the difficulty seemed a bit uneven.

Though, Guwange is not without it's problems. I did prefer the story and artwork in Esprade.

According to the wiki DOJ came out in 2002 where as Ketsui came out in 2003.

DDP hands down. I'm already waiting for TFVI because it brings backs the guitars. I love Stage 2/5 song.

Scoring system might be annoying/a bitch but still the game is amazing. Although DonPachi come close thanks to the co-pilot dude. Damn if he didn't rock!

edit: forgot to add more. It's mercieless, makes you move across the screen, fires hell upon you, everything explodes, the 2d is precious... It's freaking action packed.

I love the fact that Dangun is completely ridiculous, but I don't like the game itself that much.
If I had to pick one I guess it'd be Progear, but I'm starting to think I'm not really a Cave fan in general.

EspRaDe. I just like the normal shot/power shot/shield setup. The scoring is pretty easy to get a grip on too, just a pity about the ultra dull boss milking, albeit optional.
