Afaik, the fm-towns shmups don't have real tate modes either. The best they can only do is wobble.Ed Oscuro wrote:Does even the FM Towns have some real tate mode games?
All I've played either have fake tate (Raiden Densetsu, which looks half decent at least) or horrible glitchy screen scrolling shenanigans (the Toaplan ports).

The PCE Hu-Card release of Soldier Blade has "Arcade Mode" + "Standard Mode". It also takes advantage of memory saving functionality of high scores as well for both the 2 minute, 5 minute Caravan shooting selections along with the regular game.
PCE Cyber Core also has an "Arcade Mode" for a more arcade like presentation but it is still presented in yoko. Even though there is room for just inputting one password, the CPU will still accept more than just one password command. Just input them before pressing "Run" and you're good to go. ^_~
