Anyone got Gradius II lyrics?

Hi, I usually play the Touhou series, but one of my friends was asking about a song from Gradius II, called "Farewell" and has been trying to find lyrics for it for a long time. My google-fu has failed me, so I figured to go to ask guys who know about this stuff.

If anyone has lyrics for it, or a link to lyrics, that would be awesome.

...it has lyrics? I've only heard the instrumental version at the end of Gradius II PCE and the Music Box renderition...

I'm not sure, it might have only been on the soundtracks or something, but there is one with vocals.

There is surely more than one with vocals. The most recent one can be found in Motoaki Furukawa's Under the Blue Sky.
