Nice. I like how everything synchronizes to music.

And i see you finally listened to people complaining about inertia in your games. Excellent.

Now excuse me, i'm going to play it some more.

worstplayer - yeah, I got a lot of requests to lose the inertia so I did the obvious thing and made it optional. Keeps everyone happy. You can see on the leaderboards who has it on or off. I'm interested to see if the hardcore shmup fans who wanted it off will actually score any higher 8)

I tried it out a couple of days ago. I was just happy that it wasn't an arena shmup. The screenshots made it look like one, and indie developers seem to love making those things. Anyway, it was lagging a bit on my computer, and I couldn't get it to recognize the stick on my HRAP-3 (buttons worked fine), so I didn't play very long. Seems like a lot of fun, though, and the concept is neat and fresh. Nice work.

I saw this on Eegra when my friend linked me to it-- congratulations, by the way!

Anyway, I love it, it's very creative. I just wish my high score would have went through, because I'd be on the higher part of the top 20. :o

I'm having a problem where the controls seem to "stick" and my atom goes flying off in the wrong direction.

Necronopticous - I never thought to include digital joystick support! It's analog stick only (I tend to play with an xbox 360 controller). I guess you could use joy2key to get your HRAP to work maybe? I'll be sure to put digital joystick support in the next game.

Momijitsuki - the highscore should automatically upload when you select the highscore option in the menu, or when you quit the game (if you've broken your record). If you alt-f4 out of the game then you might not upload your highscore.

ED-057 - are you using keyboard, or a gamepad? I haven't come across that issue before, let me know if you can re-create it consistently.

Well in my case, it just gave me a message that said 'Upload Failed'. I'm not sure how to remedy that.

Ah, your firewall's probably blocking it. Add it to the allowed list in your firewall settings and that should solve the problem.

I am having this problem as well. I'm using a usb gamepad, and it's definitely not the pad's fault.

(I lol'd when it said "Uranium approaching")

I was using a parallel-port SNES pad with directpad pro driver. I played a few more times just now and didn't notice it happening anymore though(?). Using the keyboard I can't move at all, only shoot/repel.

ah ha - I've also noticed that the arrow keys on the keyboard don't work when I use an Xbox controller with XBCD drivers. I think it's an issue with Torque and non-standard gamepad drivers. Sorry, I don't think I'll be able to fix that - but I will report the bug to Garage Games and they might fix it in future version of Torque.

That's interesting, it works fine here with 360 gamepad and XBCD+ drivers.
I can test it with some other controllers if you want.

Edit: Sorry, arrow keys work in menu but not in game.
Edit2:
- no-name gameport arcade stick - arrows work both in menu and game
- Trust GM1520 - also work in both menu and game
- Logitech Chillstream - works in both menu and game (which is kinda surprising since it's technically same as 360 pad)

Thanks for the hardware survey worstplayer! Nice to know it's working ok with most joysticks. I'm pretty sure it's related to the XBCD drivers somehow.

I've noticed a lot more high scores with inertia turned off since I posted the link on this forum! :?
