Is it possible to get a good small 640x480 native screen?

For the Dreamcast. The CRT monitors look good but they're big.

nobody makes lcds with a 640x480 native resolution.

CRTs are big, but that's probably how you'll have to go.

You could also try a 1280x960 LCD, as that's exactly double the resolution either way, so the pixel ratio should still be ok.
You're arguing for a universe with fewer waffles in it. I'm prepared to call that cowardice.

20" LCD TVs often have a 640x480 4:3 panel.

Tell me all about this mythical 1280 x 960 display. I think it must be some kind of CRT, rite?

I've verified this with my two 17" Dell LCD's using DC's w/ VGA cables. Beautiful.

Would that be a 1280x960 native resolution, or a 1280x1050 monitor that's also capable of 1280x960?
