The 360 version has issues.
I already own the DC version so there's little point. Sorry... not buying it.
For being hard to please we are quite a gullible bunch. I wouldn't be surprised to find that most people writing in this thread doesn't even like the game in the first place.
that would be me.... it's funny you see more being negative and suspicious of TF6's quality yet folks eat this up even after it actually know how this turned out.
yeah, you would think this would be a $30 title at most, but i see in the sales thread that a copy of the dc version just sold for 40GPB, so people are still willing to pay that much for this game.

has it been announced that this wont support 480p? the ps2 should be more than capable of running this in progressive mode.
I can't imagine this having 480p like the Dreamcast.
So calling this enhanced is misleading to say the least
They should call it Triggerheart Exelica DEGRADED.

I think what you say is probably true, but I'm glad to see it coming to another format (especially as every DC copy I've seen for sale recently in my local import store has been a little pricey for my DC!).
At least this reissue gives people who don't own a DC or 360 a chance to see if they like or dislike the game9as long as it's a worthy port!).
Play-Asia has now opened pre-orders for both the normal and limited editions. The latter also has new, colored pics of the figure. Think I'll just get the normal edition...
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.
I just hope it doesn't come out too close to the Ketsui DS and Thunderforce VI I pre-ordered, as they are only a week apart. If it does Play-Asia are going to do my credit card over my bank manager's desk!

Personally I love the triggerheart exelica for its simplicity (no reference to scoring) and novel idea.
But I would prefer buying XBLA version since it costs about 10$. I do not consider buying yet another version for > 50 euros practical since you can also plug DC version to VGA and enjoy clean graphics.
If there is a mode to disable that "HAW HAW YOU GOT SHOT ONCE IN THE LEVEL NOW THE BOSS ONLY HAS ONE PATTERN" bullshit, I might consider splurging for it.
the game looks much nicer in 480i than 480p if you ask me. Some graphics just aren't nice enough for progressive scan.
It's an alright game, but not good enough to warrant taking time from other dc shmup titles so I ended up letting it go. I actually really like the music though. This new port seems very expensive though...

NAOMI version looked like crap when I played it interlaced on a low-res cab, despite the rough edges to the graphics it looks much better in progressive scan. Never tested to see if the DC or 360 versions fared any better in that regard, probably never will as long as I have VGA cables for either. If anything, judging from such past efforts as Shienryu Explosion, my money is on the PS2 version looking worse than the DC or Arcade version.

I thought all of the home ports had a practice mode or level select or somesuch. You could use it to do things like learning to play the game.

Heh. I think this should be the standard for ports of games on less powerful systems. Some suggestions for future titles;
Raiden Reduced
Gradius Gimped
Strikers 1945 Minus
etc...
