Great news for me. I was seriously thinking about importing this soon.
Of course, that's just an opinion.

UFO huh? Maybe 505 Games will do a PAL release then. For all the criticism that publisher faces, they have brought a great many shooters to PAL, from loads of Psykio games to Raiden III.

Yeah, I have nothing but praise for 505. Some of the stuff they put out is just bizzarre, and about 1000000x more interesting than anything else on the shelves. Just a shame no one seems to buy it

505 games seems to be our best bet indeed, considering they also acquired publishing rights for Heavenly Guardian/Legend of Sayuki.

Aside from the almost complete lack of interest in the genre, we also have to blame 505 Games and their distribution network for this.

Plenty of people on a German forum I used to read wanted to buy Raiden III, Ar Tonelico or Homura. But all these, along with most of 505's other games, aren't available in Germany. Only Italy and Great Britain seem to get most of their games.

I hope the success of Cooking Mama (also published by 505 Games, but in most EU countries to my knowledge) makes them reconsider their distribution plans.

I'm just glad that it's at a easy-on-the-wallet $30 price point. I've yet to see a copy of Karous sell for that cheap, let alone getting two other Milestone shooters with it.

I'll preorder this one and hopefully have it on the 23rd of September. Like Kiken, I wonder why O3 isn't publishing this in the U.S. As long as it gets published here at all, I should be content I suppose...

Glad to hear it's coming to the states. UFO seems to be a more stable publisher than O3 so I'm glad they're doing it.

Is anyone else concerned that UFO didn't rename Karous to something more friendly? This leaves concern that they even translated the in-game text for Radio Allergy and Karous. O~3 already had a translation done for Radio Allergy, and it looks like they went with O~3's English logo and title, but they left "Karous" alone.

You can see these details in their little trailer at amazon.com. Not that I care a whole lot about text in a shoot 'em up, but I want the full experience.

I also noticed that they recently changed the box art. I think the Japanese box art was neater, but this will certainly sell more copies now.

Amazon.com still has this listed for September 23, by the way. UFO lists it as "coming soon" on their website though.

Using O3's logo would suggest that they bought O3's localization work on Radio Allergy.

Not sure what to say about Karous.

What the hell did they do to the cover?

The original cover was a lot cooler, but this will significantly boost their sales.

I read from a HK gaming magazine (CESA member) saying this compilation will be upgraded for a release for XBox 360, called Shooting Love.X or something, can't remember the exact name. Is it true?

Shooting Love X sounds more like the Exzeal compilation (trizeal, exzeal, and shmups skills test)

Oh yes, it was Triangle, not Milestone. Never get the chance to play their games on DC so can't differentiate between them. My bad

Looking at the title screen UFO provided, it kind of implies that there might, just might, be an art gallery in the game. Is there one in the Japanese version?
