Can I buy Japanese psn games on a us ps3 with a jp account

Post by muell67 »

I was wondering if I could create a fake jp account on my us ps3 so I could buy einhander from the jp psn store? Anyone know if this works? Can I us a us credit card or do I need to find a jp points card somewhere?

Play-asia sell them, but I think they actually ship the card out to you - the best place to get them from is NCSX.com - they re-stock quickly and email the code to you, rather than waste time and money shipping it;

Don't waste your money, purchase the games directly through the Playstation store using your credit card and a fake japanese billing adress.

Requires a Japanese bank issued card, no?

I purchased from both the japanese Xbox360 marketplace and the Asian Playstation store with fake billing adresses and a European visa card.

Would these point cards work even with an Hong Kong account? I just made one, I wanted to buy Little Ralph...

HK account requires HK points. I've tried to put both my real Australian Visa and Entropay virtual visa onto the JPN psn account with a fake address (Cave's office), but it wouldn't accept either. Entropay works fine for HK, though.

What does Xbox360 marketplace have to do with this?

Anyway, I tried buying stuff from the Japanese PS store with an European visa: didn't work. (This was almost a year ago though)

A few months ago I tried buying stuff from the Asian PS store with the same Euro visa: worked.
