Not sure if any of these are posted, as I come to this forum randomly and scatter my gaming genres ridiculously around, but here's some sick games I found so far (also good for new forum members looking for a fixing:

"Was" is the keyword. Seems it's been out of print for a while? (Been trying to get it without much luck) However, it is apparently getting a reprint for C74 and... OMFG REFLEX IS COMING OUT.

Piracy isn't that tolerated here so whenever you get the chance to purchase any of the games (that is, if they are commercial releases that can actually be purchased) do so.

But I do agree BWR and Eden's Aegis from X.X certainly rock! Plus they are free.

I've been touting this game like hell. Also, I've been playing this game like hell, too. I'd make a shmup treatise considering I've played this game a lot, but I need to gather up the patience to note down statistics.

I've been playing this game for a while. I managed to break 10 million points on it. Man, what is with me and bullet-cancelling shmups these days...?

Minishooter RS (Right Scroll) Delta (vector link)
This one's not in development and is already complete. If you can tolerate the strain-o-vision of a small resolution (lest you use the zoom options) and you can tolerate textbook shmups (if you put the combo meter aside), I recommend this shmup. It's rather big in content with unlockable ships, bonus content, and sports a sort-of Cave Story graphic style.

Sonic Aerostorm and Demolition Gunner are great ones, along with XOP Black.

EDIT: Ooh, the full version of Patriot Dark is out? Nice.
