I'm interested to see how this turns out. Jon Chang is doing the art design, and I love his stuff. Anyone here into his work?

OS X!!! :D

And if anything, the name certainly is apt for my philosophy of shmupping.

There isn't a demo available to download that I'm not seeing, right? I'll look forward to trying it out (even though I'm doubtful of a western shmup release, but we'll see)

No, I don't think theres a demo yet. Jon used to be in this band, Discordance Axis. He sang and did the CD art, and alot of the art (and a music video for a song) was based on shmups. The music video was actually just a shit load of stills from shmups flashing by on the screen extremely fast. He's not doing the programming though. But artwise, I trust him with knowing whats up

Changs actually the reason I'm into shmups. In the liner notes for their DVD he mentioned some shmups and when I became frustrated with the lack of games that interested me I decided to check them out. On his site he mentioned this site was where he met the guy whos now programming KETM - that's how I found this place
