According to MAME, only the ROMs you listed differ between the US and World versions. The Japan version seems to be almost a completely different set, but that's at least partly due to not having the same number of ROMs, so I'm not sure exactly how that corresponds to which chips would need to be replaced on a US board if the ROM images were suitably spliced. 26 is the same for all regions.
edit: I didn't check the checksums but just noticed some source comments suggesting that the Japan set is also the same data-wise apart from those 4 ROMs.
