it seems to be a selection of Japaneses Dojin Shmups for PC.
But I haven't been able to uncover any details.

Looks to me like each is a seperate purchase, as each one has their own "purchase here" link.

you're right... thats an online store, game prices (those shmups) range from 500 to 900 (5-9 USD) yen each... unless u pay, u wont get a damn thing from there!... but after payment, ull get a good link with the game u want for download.

And then the game won't run because you don't have Japanese Winblows.

It says something about "Mac" down at the bottom. Anyone care to translate?

I've managed to run Japanese files on my comp before.
No real issue if you have the software for the text.

It's not like consoles where all content is locked out to prevent entertainment

It's actually quite easy to run Japanese games on your Windows-based PC (if they support 2000/XP, which is the norm nowadays), if the game really does require all of the settings found in their region as a lot of them don't. It's a lot easier than modding your console or buying a Japanese one, although handhelds still win hands-down because all you need to do is put the game in and turn the power on.
