I would love to go as well, but seeing as I live in the states, it's a little hard to just hop on a plane and go. And I honestly don't know if $3000 would cut it.
Out of curiosity, how hard is it for the average EU person to go across countries to get to these meets? To me, it would seem easy since you guys have a great train system, but it may be a little more complicated than I think. Here in the states, the biggest problem is driving the long distances required to get to the meets. As a result, I've never been to any meets.

still not sure if I'll be there....
not cheap ass flights to Munich and for now only sure of the saturday off.
200 Euro for just a 2 day weekend flight seems much. Cheapest I could find. Train isn't much cheaper either....
if I can arrange the friday as well I'll be there though.

from sweden its a good 20hour car ride.. atleastCIT wrote:Well, it depends how far you are going, obviously, but Munich is within 4-5 car hours from Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Italy, France, Slovenia and Croatia, so it's not too inconvenient.

the destruction of everything, is the beginning of something new. your whole world is on fire, and soon, you'll be too..

I'll have to cancel as well.
Though I got the saturday of from work and could come over for one day, the costs of 200 Euro minimum aren't worth it to me.
Especially after losing a lot of money last month (over 500 Euro in my wallet -> gone
) I can't justify this for only 2 days.

I think we also set a new record for number of women at a shmupmeet.
Awesome meeting guys! Hope we get a chance to do another one soon.
Some games played that Plasmo forgot to mention: Guwange, OutZone, Recca, Lord of the Sword (not a shmup, but nice anyway)
I think my highlights were DFK, Futari BL and Air Gallet.
