Now that I finally bought it, Team Fortress 2 will steal time away from every other game that I have.
But I was able to tear myself away from it to start playing Espgaluda. It seems deceptively easy at points, but I still like it a lot. I'll give it some more seat time and see if I should go for the sequel.
cycling between arcade versions of Raiden 1 & 2, its amazing how solid Raiden 2 feels, it is a bit more difficult than Raiden, but man, presentation-wise it is incredibly solid, the music is classic.
Can anyone recommend other games that inspired or resulted from Raiden 1 & 2 ?
for sure....only saving grace with fooking my esprade board is i can still play it with MAME....but i still plan on fixing/replacing it eventually....its one of my fav's
but ya....ibara is so nice and hard....its raping me.....im watching the lunatic video and im still not getting anywhere....oh well....all in good time
i like the rank system tho....its different every time.....and its a nice change of pace compared to all the danmaku stuff i normally play

This week its Sengoku Ace.
It's fun. Easier than the other Psikyo games, at any rate.
Bought Megadrive and Saturn arcade sticks yesterday, tested them out with some Robo Aleste, Keio Flying Squadron and Radiant Silvergun. Having different arcade stick for different consoles sucks, I need a universal one or something.
Also returning the Truxton cartridge today that I bought yesterday, it's dead
Hoping to find another shmup at the Gameshop here, but chances are slim they'll have anything interesting.

Managed to piss out a 21 million score in ESPGaluda after months of neglect. Pretty rusty, but at least there's something to work with. I never did get that 1CC
