New Astro City keys?

Post by Salamande »

Anybody know a way to get spare keys made for this machine? None of the key shops I've checked are able to make a duplicate of this kind of key (it's a weird dimple style that I've never seen before), and since I need both keys to get into the control panel, if I lose one I'm screwed. Does anyone know of any company that can copy this kind of key, or any way to acquire spares?

Thanks a bunch.

You could get them from such Japanese arcade PCB shops or direct from the manufacturer would be even better...if you do end up losing those set of cabinet keys, you're fucked big time. Sorry to say that but it is the honest truth... ^_~

You could try gaining access to the control panel from the backside of your cabinet if that worst case senario does happen...just have a screwdriver handy.

Just be sure to keep your arcade cab keys in a safe spot where it is handy at all times would be your best bet... ^_~

Just fit it with with a western lock!
These locks can be bought at any serious hardware shop.
Drill out the locked locks if you can't get in!
Else I would suggest ordering a complete set of new locks from Japan if you wanna keep it authentic!
Why do you even need locks? Do you have an arcade?
I disabled all locks in my machines except for the back panel which the locks support.
