Just found this in my travels on the web, it's 146 megs, too big for my 56k to handle (server doesn't resume), so has anyone had a chance to try this out?
I hate when they don't offer screenshots for something this big........

I was able to resume at first, but then after about 5 tries or so, it said this server would not allow resuming (using Getright btw), so it was odd...
I had a friend with cable modem access DL it, but haven't seen him yet so I don't know how it is.........
I don't like bringing in large files without screenshots either, but hey, I figure nothing ventured, nothing gained, and maybe such a large file could be a killer shmup.
Or it could suck. Who knows.

We'll all just have to wait
*Suspense grows higher*

ok, i was able to finish it after somethin like 12 hours of continuous download.... the server still allowed me to resume, but in the latest 7 hours or so, the download rate was about 0.4 kbps... so, u know how painfull it was.
well, after downloading it, i unpacked it, so i could give the game a try!... it has nice pics, and it says RIGHT AWAY that its some kinda touhou clone
:D:D ... so with that sad, i pushed "Z" and started to play........
from then on, i cant comment, cuz, for some odd reason (VGA drivers or something) the backgrounds were ALL messed up, but for what i could see, its a compelte touhou clone, with nice sprites (but seems rather amateurish), and a nice game play (for the lil i could try) .... cant recommend it, since i coulndt test it to the full... but seems like a good game.
any other that has downloaded the game, and could try it w/o probs. plz tell the others what do you think of the game.... i kinda feel its worth it, but u know what happened already (problem is, that its not the 1st game who i get that SAME problem... but all of them are rather amateurish... so, thats why i think its VGA drivers prob.).
laters guys n gals.

i use FlashGet or Reget Deluxe 3.3 for downloads, adn like i said, it tookme some time, but i was able to resume more than 100 times (automatically done by the dl manager), i even took the risk of stoppin the download and tryin again (since it was painfully slow!) and it resumed like nothing happened, and after decompressin, everythiin was ok... but i coulndt play the game for graphic errors (again, its not the 1st game i have this error with, so ITS NOT THE GAME thats for sure... i think), but for what i could read from the readme, the game its a lil machine eager... they tested it on a machine with 1 Gb of RAM!!!!... (i have 512) anyways, the game doesnt tke to much by startin nor loading levels (somethin lik e4 seconds starting and 1-2 seconds loading a level)......postman wrote:I was able to resume at first, but then after about 5 tries or so, it said this server would not allow resuming (using Getright btw), so it was odd...

i kinda feel it can bee a good one... but i have to make some tests with my machine (apps are loosing focus suddenly, and stuff like that... still dont know what is it)...
To those with a slow connection: Don't waste your time.
Maybe I'm missing something, but there is no justification for a file of this size. The graphics are something that my old 486 could pump out, despite the fact that the readme seems to state that you'll need at least a Geforce 3. Your character is slow as hell, only has one type of attack (though that can be powered up within the first 30 seconds of the game), and has three bombs to work with through the entire thing. Now, mind you, I've only made it to the first boss, but I'm guessing it's also the final once, since it has eight forms. Let me repeat that for those not listening. The boss has EIGHT FORMS. And they ain't exactly the shortest in the world. Granted, she does have a few interesting patterns. Last, but not least, the game isn't really that fun to play. *shrug*

Took me 40 minutes to download; guess their server got unclogged. The graphics look pretty poor for such a huge game. My graphics card got the game to generally look OK except for a black bar every few stretches. The only problem is that about every 5 seconds, the game freezes for about half a second (during which time stuff moves without my seeing it), which is basically making the game impossible to play.
Here's a shot of the game:
