Bugs Rider(Another Korean MMO Shmup, this time in English)

Very strange shmup.
Mission mode is a horizontal manic shmup.
Multiplayer mode is a turn based horizontal shmup.
Thee's also bosses that randomly attack like in Twinkle Star Sprites.

This is the game's home page.
Someone told me they tried to sign up and download it, but it's currently in a closed beta stage.
Looks to be distributed on the Hangame network.........

Server is fixed now......
I like this game!
Only one player can attack at a time, and the others auto defend (i.e. you can't control while defending). You are at the mercy of the other players.....but this adds some strategy to the game.
I made a video of a match here:

It's still in beta mode, but it's working pretty good for me......

I don't know why but when I'm playing online the game rapidly freezes (when "nice !" is displayed on the screen). The longest I could play was 30 seconds.
I couldn't test with anyone other than the only guy who's online in an open game (whose nickname is "furito") and who doesn't answer to chat
If anyone would like to try this game with me, please tell. Thank you
My nick is "tssfan".
(edit : spelling)

I'm on from time to time during the day (shmupnut)
After each round it has to refresh the connections of the players, so after the "nice" either you or the other player(s) have a laggy connection. 90% of my matches ran with no problems at all.
There could be a lot of Japanese/Korean players, maybe that's why they don't respond.

They kinda had to do a "no defense" type engine, otherwise matches could last for hours.
It actually works out really well, since it add a lot of strategy to the game. You can end a turn early in order to get two turns in a row afterwards. Also, you need to choose who to attack when faced with more than one foe and a boss.........think of it as shmups meets chess.
There is also a "set the bomb" grid that isn't functional yet, but it looks like the defender can drop a bomb somewhere in the attacker's path.
Lag only happens between rounds, and I haven't seen much of it. Overall I really like this game.

That video was absolutely hilarious.
Doesn't look like my kind of game, but regardless of how good or bad it may be, I'm very pleased that it exists, if only for this priceless passage in the guide:

‘Bugs Rider’ has overcome the limits of other online shooting games as you can attack enemies with continuously rapid fire advancing the game excitement. Dodging your opponent’s containing attack narrowly and attacking them back is excitement you can only meet in Bugs Rider.

It's the "hardly anyone on" bit that's throwing me off.
Until I hear that there are enough players to warrant playing something like this, I'll just wait on it.
