Should I sell Slim Jim? (My US PS2 Slim Model)

Post by FatCobra »

After I got my Sega Saturn, it dawned on me, I really don't give a crap about modern consoles and their games that aren't worth the $50 that they charge for. My PS2 is sitting here gathering dust and it's starting to become a sore spot. I want to get of this infernal device! Sure, I'll miss out on Gradius V, but maybe later down the road, I'll buy a JPN model so I can enjoy more shmups. Besides, all I ever play on it is my PS1 shmups, so I don't think I'll miss my PS2 too much. I really do need the cash too.

What do you guys think? :?
Shmups: It's all about blowing stuff up!

Hell no, don't sell it. You'll regret it down the line.

Hold onto it and scout out for bargins at your local used game stores. I picked up the pre-Greatest Hits version of Crazy Taxi, Mark of Kri, Gungriffon Blaze, Mad Maestro, Project Eden, Silent Hill 2, Armored Core, and Beyond Good & Evil for $5-$10 each. Damn good deals, imo.

Sure, you might be riding that Saturn high right now, but don't use that as an excuse to dump your former love. Don't make me tell you a story about a teenager that sold off a shit load of SNES carts for Virtua Cop and Nights. :(

Sell it and get a Japanese PS2. It's an even better shmups console than the Saturn.
