Hi Guys,
I've been lurking here for a while looking for an answer to this question:
Is it possible to replace the stock parts in a mayflash/elecom usb arcade stick (http://www.elecom.co.jp/news/200705/jc- ... BK_01L.jpg) with a Sanwa JLF, new sanwa buttons and an octagonal gate - without too much heavy modification?
I'm not a novice to modding consoles, but it will be my first time modding an arcade stick.
I read in an earlier thread on here that somewhere on the net there is a tutorial on how to do this project - can anyone link me as i'm having difficulty finding it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated-
All the best-
Modding A Mayflash/Elecom USB Arcade Stick?

I shall check them later on tonight.
An additional question would be how viable is it to wire up the innards of a spare SIXAXIS to the pcb of a stick like this in order to have wireless play using a PS3?
Aside from the technical issues of actually getting it to work, I assume any amount of lag noticable over a wireless connection would completely negate the point of having high-quality arcade parts in the build?

Perhaps that's the reason wireless arcade sticks barely exist. Do any exist? The Hori Wii stick plugs into the Wiimote I think...MajorZ wrote: I assume any amount of lag noticable over a wireless connection would completely negate the point of having high-quality arcade parts in the build?
With regard to modding sticks, I was an utter novice, and it's all been fairly basic to pick up...
