I saw an auction for this JAMMA PCB on eBay several months ago...
There was a screenshot, and the graphical style was almost identical to Metal Slug, and from the description it was a run & gun type game also.
Sorry but that's all the info I can remember at the moment. It definitely wasn't called Metal Slug anything though!

I guess the style shows with In the Hunt too.
The irem/Nazca similarity can also be seen with Neo Turf Masters and Major Title Tournament Leader.

Gunforce 2 had such a uncanny resemblance to Metal Slug that at first I thought they were made by the same people....

Funny thing is, people sometimes refer to Geo Storm (Gunforce 2) as a Metal Slug clone, but it's actually 2 years older!

I finally saw Dolphin Blue... it popped up in a random arcade here. Quite nice. I still want to see Demon Front...
