Haven't posted in a while, but I picked up In The Hunt off Ebay for $45 BIN plus $20 shipping. Game works fine and is in great shape. I did also buy a Japanese MVS cabinet. I've got Guwange and Strikers 1945 Plus on the way as well, but I figured that In The Hunt was worthy of a posting since I've only seen it for sale for WAY more.

You can probably mod or have someone else mod a stick for you. GP has posted the pinout before (and you probably have the sheet) and it should be a simple 1-to-1 process to the 13-pin DINN.
For my AV6000, Paik4Life helped me out with a nice custom DB15 stick (because those 9000TBs just don't feel right for all circumstances with those flat Seimitsu snap-ins). It would probably be a fun experience for the stick maker as well.

Thanks, Ganelon. That's an excellent idea, and I do have the pinout. I would love to have a further stick or even a Saturn pad. I expect the supergun itself will last a long, long time. I'll have to look into having someone help me out with that because there's no way I could do it myself.Ganelon wrote:You can probably mod or have someone else mod a stick for you. For drboom,
That's gotta be one for the record books of a Cave arcade shmup PCB selling for less than it's real worth. Either the seller didn't know the real value of it on the secondary PCB market or he just simply wanted some chmup pocket change back on his intial investment...
A mere forty bucks for a Cave ESP.ra.de PCB is quite a steal in this day of age... ^_~
Was it just a "barebones" PCB deal to begin with?

For oxtsu,
How's the gameplay of that Bombjack Twin PCB? Very nice and clean overall for it's age... ^_~

That is the very first Strikers game to start off the Strikers series...very fine arcade shmup title in it's own right. ^_~Plasmo wrote:Just got Strikers 45
Great game!
The cool Flying Pancake fightercraft is upgraded (with it's homing laser shots) in the Strikers 1945 II version.
And the Strikers 1945 Plus version on the Neo-Geo MVS mobo setup is another fine Psikyo shmup to play/own.
