He's lived his life to the full, and has some demons to be put to rest. The only one who understands him is his woman.

you gotta admit, it's pretty funny though.

newsflashforjosh: the fact he's in his thirties makes it more embarassing

:o :o :o

This just brightened up my day no end. I thought he was about 17. I always felt bad for laughing at his thread shitting and his hilariously rudimentary grasp of Wittgenstein because I thought 'well, after he grows up a bit he'll grow out of it". But in his 30's? Oh shit, wow.

Hes in his 30's & hes thinking, speaking & acting like that?

Then he dosent have the excuse of being young, immature & inexperienced.

He may have some qualities that are impressive in some areas.
He may be a very intelligent fellow.
He may make you laugh.
He may know his shmups.

But Id say hes mentally unsound & most likely has an organic mental disorder such as bipolarism: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bipolar_disorder
& other self image & anger issues.

So sayeth the doodude...

And if you get all upset & lash out at me over MY analogy then your just looking into my lil' mirror with all the ignorance & stupidity that YOU carry with you
when you should be learning from & mending your doubtful ways...Buster! :P

Well, that goes without saying. I think it's an insult to shoe for him to be lumped along with him in this thread, tbh

ummmm, isnt the title of this thread, "unban Icycalm thread?"

Of which my 2¢ is full of ambivalence.
And the reason for that is that upon learning his age Im both in the camp of seeing this guy as a serious case of personal issues needing all the support he can get before he reaches the edge.
While at the same time thinking some people have to go over the edge in order to 'get it out of their system' so to speak.

I think we're just further masturbating his ego by talking about him tbh. Let's talk about something else.

I've been away a day or two too, and I come back to no Shoesama. I totally see that his banning was inevitable, but I'll miss him.

I can't explain why I warmed to his silliness, but I did. Our forum will be a slightly more serious place without him, which I think is a bit of a shame. I like the way it's intelligent and considered here, but the variety Shoe introduced never made this place any worse for me personally...

And it just become more intelligent and considerate in his absence.

I watched a YouTube video. I can't tell if he is trying to be clever and failing, or trying to be stupid and succeeding. Is he in university? The guy ought to fail a few courses and get abandoned by his closer acquaintances, so he'll learn to spend less time playing video games, smarten up, and discover that it is generally a better idea to show one's good side to people rather than the ass-side.

Off-topic section, fine. I can ignore those easily. But I cannot recall him ever posting anything worthwhile in Shmups Chat, in his own threads or in others'.

I blame him for making me become such an asshole lately.

Sorry dude I should have made 2 post.

The 1st: "ummmm, isnt the title of this thread, "unban Icycalm thread?"", was sarcasm. An attempt at dry humor.

The 2nd: "Of which my 2¢ is full of ambivalence...", should have been made as a 2nd post not involving your comment at all. Just an opinion carried over...

Sorry to be unclear...

EDIT: BTW, Ive got to go out of town on business for a couple of days so dont anyone get themselves banned, K!?

Heck, reading Shoe's posts is like watching some guy masturbating in public. The only one he is amusing is himself, yet he assumes that everybody gives a crap about what he's doing and wants to watch. Twiddle is right up there too, except that he's usually more coherent than Shoe ever was and apparently not autistic.

not amusing to greg == not amusing to anyone else

I like your line of thinking and will subscribe to your newsletter. Before that, though, there are straight white middle-class Republican males that I and several others on this forum have to persecute.

Wow - old thread. I'd completely forgotten about icycalm, and that spate of bannings. Seems to have been a long while since we experienced too many troublemakers.

That's probably the place cursed now!
