True or false?

Castle of Shikigami III is the first Wii shmup.

(I'm not including Gamecube (Ikaruga), Virtual Console (Gradius, etc.) or, WiiWare (Star Soldier R).)

False.
There was Geometry Wars Galaxies, Karous and Shikigami no Shiro III

But before Shikigami no Shiro III there was only Geometry Wars Galaxies.

Jockel: Actually if you are considering Japanese releases, and I assume you are since you mention Karous, I believe Shiki III was released in December 2007, one month after Geometry Wars Galaxies in the US. However, Shin Chuuka Taisen beats them both at September 2007.

I was aware of that game, but didnt know that it arrived first.
Is it by any means good? The videos on Youtube scared me off, it looked ultra-boring to me.
