Harmful Park is for girls

Just to be perfectly clear, what I'm saying is that you played the game on EASY setting and beat it. Nice job! Even I have managed that, and I completely suck at horis.

I would like an apology to all "girls" for the suggestion that they ought to be playing Harmful Park on EASY setting. I would also like to see how many credits it takes you to beat the game on NORMAL or MEDIUM setting (whatever it's called). Then we'll talk about how easy or difficult the game is.

No, what I'm saying is that the default setting and the Normal or Medium setting are different.

The default setting should imply normal or medium mode. If a game defaults to easy (and it genuinely is easy), then that's a separate design flaw. Thankfully, >90% default to normal, hence the terms 'default' and 'normal' are often used interchangeably.

Jesus, this is a terrible thread of mis-communication. Prof, I was already aware the game defaults to easy when I bought it - I switched the game to Normal before starting.

Well, I like Harmful Park. What I don't like about it is the insane price that used copies go for these days - $150? They can't be serious.

If I saw Sexy Parodius for the same price it would be exactly the same thing.

How 'bout this. I've never played Harmful Park (I assure you that one day, someone will make me <<) but I can say something that applies to quite a few games, and that's what this topic has turned into (on the sensible side):

If a game is too easy, do something about it. Crank up the difficulty. Don't say, do!
