Well if it stays on the floor, chances are that it gets this dirty without necessarily being a filthy owner. Problem is when such a dustball is in a bedroom, it can't be healthy and could lead to dust allergies. Btw, lumps of dusty filth were sticking out of the fans, so the owner could have well wondered if it was time to open it and take a look. Besides, I'm sure that that PC was fucking noisy as hell on earth.

Anyway, mine is totally open for improved cooling and gets gently sucked (erm-) every now and then. So far so good.
I just hope laptops are not this dirty cuz I don't know how to open them. But let's assume not.

My Mac G4 has sucked up some dust. I clean what I can pretty regularly but it's gotten into the fan and it sounds like a gas generator while it runs.

Inside looks like the outside, since I left the case off.
