Who buys and owns weapons?

For your collection, for an attack, whatever the reason or purpose is.

Remember the ninja turtle helicopter with the snake rotors? I wasn't rich enough to own any of the vehicles.

I found a bullet once in my street when I was something like 10 years old.
I kept it. Now I don't even know where it is, probably gave it away.
Way back in those old days friends always tried to make their own throwing stars from metal. Those were really crappy, yet they could be thrown into a wooden hedge, the sound was awesome "ssshhhhhh-DOUP!"
ah, the days of youth

I have a bunch of display swords and replica weapons from stuff like Final Fantasy... they aren't really weapons, but I guess you could still stab somebody or whack them over the head with them anyway... but you could do that with pretty much anything...

Um, my dad gave me a BB gun when I was ten or so, and I'm fairly sure that at some point I also received a ten gauge shotgun... those are probably in my dad's gun safe.

Where did this expression come from exactly?

My stepfather used to do karate in his youth, and he was one of the most dedicated students in his dojo. The sensei gave him a wooden nunchaku as a gift, and some time ago he passed it down to me.

Took some bruises, but now I can handle it quite well, and I treasure it.

Oh, if you want to see people owned by rifles, then you should watch this:

pwned is a purposeful misspelling since p & o are right next to each other, kind of like 'teh' or whatever else retarded-ass internet slang 4channers (shoe-sama) are using. If something or someone owns you, then they have complete dominance over you, which is what I would assume is the origin of the phrase, but honestly, a lot of American (if that's where it was started) slang is retarded and makes absolutely no sense at all.

My dad gave me a shotgun as a Christmas gift when I was 13. I took it to the shooting range once and its been sitting in the closet ever since. I can't really think of anything I really want to shoot. At least with a shotgun.

Speaking of weapons: You don't really see that many people with halberds anymore, do you? I always wonder why that is...

Ha, ha, besides the point of a halberd is...another point!

Well, halberds are expensive to make and quite big. I have seen replicas for sale though, plus I have seen some in Germany, I'm sure.

My family owns a gun shop, so...uhh...I have a bunch. I just have your usual assortment of rifles, shotguns, and pistols. As for knives...well...I have a bunch of those too, though most of them serve no purpose as I either carry a Leatherman or folding pocket knife.

I used to own the ultimate weapon for dispatching multiple enemies from a distance. A boomerang! Then I lost it in a tree or something :(

I got a BB gun when I was probably 8 or so and a .22 as a birthday present when I was 10 or 11. I'd like to buy a handgun but don't have that kind of disposable income right now.

You obviously have never lived anywhere where hunting is common.

Clay pigeons are fun. Every year at thanksgiving we shoot clay pigeons after dinner. Unless you live in the middle of nowhere though, there's not much use for them.

There's one that look a lot like that one in my mom's house. It was also a gift from someone of her family.. but it looks a lot cheaper than this. We never even tried to use it, it was just for decoration. I would have no idea of how to use this thing anyway :)

A friend owns a gun that featured on the box of some game in the late nighties. Aparentley they could not get hold of one looking real thought leagal channels so they sent one of the lads to buy one though nefarious means. He still has it too. But stupid thing to have in the house specialy in the UK with our gun laws.

I have a Marlin .22 but that is pretty much it. Almost anything can be a weapon though. My .22 is mostly for hunting vermin it is not really intended as an anti human weapon. I'd like to purchase a western style revolver but I just don't have the money right now. Again for vermin and target shooting. I used to make my own weapons but I always got them taken away.

Nunchucks

Take a 1 inch dowel, cut it in half and use eye hooks to attach chain to the ends.

Shuriken

Take two erecter set sticks. Cut the tips at an angle and use a screw to fasten them together from the center hole.

Flamethrower

Hairspray+matches

Pepper "bombs"

Cayenne pepper powder inside a coffee filter. Throw in faces as needed.

Blow dart for pellet guns

Take a Q-Tip with a hollow plastic shaft. Remove one end and shove a tooth pick in the hollow shaft until snug. Place down the barrel of a pellet gun and fire with no BB inside.

There go try them. The pellet gun blow dart is especially fun. Yes a wooden QTip dart will stick into doors and wood. I "invented" these before I was going to middle school.
