Gradius 1 (PSX) 213,800 1-4 Bloodreign
Windows Defender decided to rear it's ugly head at the wrong time, the emulator closed out, lost a life and was never able to recover, almost got to stage 5.

Your scores are improving, seems you're doing alot better. Keep up the good work.Bloodreign wrote:Gradius II (SAT) 225,500 stage 1-5 Type 4 Force Field (sorry about not adding type and shield type last time Zach)
I had a nice score on the PCECD version too, but since it's not included I won't post it (or maybe I will), the Saturn versions Moais proved to be too much, their rings overtook me.
(secret score: Gradius 2 PCE 251,300 Stage 1-5 type 4, I know this one won't be added, but hey doesn't hurt to put it out there.)

I think the better question is; how the ____ did you find this out?malik11 wrote:Why are the extend defaults on Gradius on Saturn different from the arcade extend defaults (via MAME)?

The question is,Limbrooke wrote:'Tis true, the default varies between ye olde Deluxe Pack (on Saturn as I can confirm) and default Gradius rom set in Mame.
Deluxe Pack: 30k then every 80k
Mame: 20k then every 70k
On the Deluxe Pack, at least you can change the extend settings. Easy or Level 2 in the options sets everything right while Difficult or Level 4 sets it to extend at 20k only.

I wasn't aware you owned a Sega Saturn. I would imagine SSF or Cassini requires better than a PII though. Good enough.malik11 wrote:--by seeing the Sega Saturn game run in person and owning a computer containing better than a Pentium II.
There's a question that may never be answered.malik11 wrote:Why

It does. But MAME doesn't.Limbrooke wrote:I would imagine SSF or Cassini requires better than a PII though. Good enough.
Then let's cease the spamming, shall we?Limbrooke wrote:There's a question that may never be answered.malik11 wrote:Why
