Yes, I have found the fabled TFVI Opening Movie. It's about 12 MB, MPEG. If anyone has a place for me to upload this, let me know A.S.A.P. before I lose it forever.
Also to note, it mentions "Dreamcast OP" as well as the name "Motohiko Komaba" being the director of the movie. The movie was previewed on 10.16.2000. If anyone can find out what happened to Motohiko Komaba, that would be great.
Also to note that the movie confirms that the Syrinx used in the Thunder Future project is definitely the one and same as the one from Thunder Force VI for those who are skeptical (even though this is a fan project, after all).
Not sure if Technosoft's TFVI project had ever gotten so far into production phase to warrant the creation of FMV at the time... We have to rule out the possibility of it being an FMV clip leaked from the Thunder Future project or another old-ish fan WIP just put together for fun.
Anyway post a link

The entire soundtrack was done, and this video seems pretty legit. I'd wager they were maybe somewhere around 25-30% when it was canned.
I doubt the video is from Thunder Future, as they would have undoubtedly posted it on their site. This video is almost 2 years old, as well.
I like how the ship changes right at the end of the video, maybe that was part of the gameplay? It's too bad there wasn't any gameplay footage, but I can't complain.

Actually, no. They remixed the "Broken Thunder" track from the "Broken Thunder" soundtrack (please differentiate here). The opening movie uses a different track.

I know, I was talking about the MP3 linked below the video.
The "Cancelled DC games" list surprises me and stomps on my heart, yet again. It's funny how I'll think that I've heard them all, and then another game will surface or I'll realize that I know what some previously-transparent title was, and how much of a bummer it is that things didn't go very smoothly...
::scans list again::
... Shienryu 2 as well, hmm? Poop.
Edit: (Yes, I just read the piece on Shienryu Explosion. At least it came out, sort of?)
The ship models and graphics remind me of Trizeal's CG cover for the DC jacket. That's... interesting.
And I want this game to be released on the Dreamcast too.
Edit: On the second viewing, those ships that the Vambrance-esque craft was fighting look like those are the TF3 ships. Does that mean Earth somehow salvaged some Vasteel tech and had contact with the original creators of the ship?
What's the difference between Cotton 100% and Cotton original on the PS-1?
I have Cotton originalfor the PS-1 & its a port of Cotton Fantastic Night Dreams from the Arcades/PCE DUO & X68000. But what about Cotton 100%?
Cotton 100% is very similar; you build up experience to power-up, and you have your fairy "options"; the main difference is that the graphics are even better.
If you like Cotton original on the PS1, then DEFINATELY pick up 100%. Two of the best hori's ever made, IMO.
I hate to be a party pooper, but I don't see TF VI getting any release, seeing as how Technosoft isn't around anymore, AFIK. And if another company were interested in picking it up, I would think they would have done sometime in the past 5 or so years since this video.

Not that I care (that much) anymore, but I've seen talk recently of Technosoft doing something/being around in 2006 (?). Something strange like that. Also, TF6 was never made. The only thing completed was the soundtrack.
