mame speed problem

ok so ive installed mame32 and been messing around with a few games on there

but ive got a common on all of them, they are all running a little slow and the sound is choppy this all seems to be based around a cyclic speed up slow down running at aprox 1Hz ( or once per sec )

now according to the fps indicator (F11 i think ) its all running at or around 100%

if i use the throttling option (F10) it speeds up to about 600%

now i have noticed that if i press the windows button and then re enter the game its starts running properly but only for about 10 -20 seconds

anyone have any ideas???

btw im running vista pro on a HP pavillion 6000 dual turion with 1G RAM

Try Wolfmame .101, that fixed all the problems I was having.
