I was wondering, when I see a shmup vid on youtube, what does Loop mean in that context?

Also, does anyone have some really good Gradius hi score vids (i'm talking all of them).

The loop is when you complete the game and it "loops" back to the start, usually at a higher difficulty. Most Psikyo games and many cave games do this. Gradius loops many times IIRC.

like freddie said. Loop means the second playthrough when you just beat the game. hten loop 2 means 3rd playthrough
