King Kong ain't got shit on ME!!!!

Okay, I know it's the easiest of the Cave shmups, but I'm going to gloat for just a little bit. The question is, do I ever touch the game again? I almost don't want to ruin the moment.

God I'm a dork. I think this is my first 1CC. I must shit on people that have yet to get one! I have some serious wood and my wife is out of the country.

You might want to secure any fragile furniture that can easily be tipped over though. :B

What to do next? Simple. Either play to improve your score, or try to 1CC Arrange Mode.

Same here, heh. Congrats on yer achievement, though as others have said, you still have Arrange mode to master, as well as plain ol' scoring better, of course. Or you could always move on to DOJ and start pulling your hair out.

No way. Not going to bother with DOJ. I think the reason I've not 1CC'ed a shmup is not so much skill, as this is the only one I've liked enough to play that much AND be good at. I've played quite a bit of Ketsui but still can't get passed the 4th boss. I'm conmfortable knowing I'll neer 1CC that one. Might try ESPRade next, but then again, Mushihime-sama is coming out in just two months.

Good going, I haven't even really had the chance to play this game yet. (only a few times actually)

Keep on playing, so you can become more consistant with it, as well as the other/other characters/planes. (yea, I know its only two characters, but making a broad statement)
Plus, you can always go for a higher score.

Congrats, but I intend to complain about the pop culture references:

Ugg, Rick James. Totally overdone. It's tainted Dave Chapelle. And the fucking Lil John bullshit. Fucking assholes, totally ruining everything funny.

Also, does anyone else remember the commercials for Training Day? How when Denzel said the line, it had been changed, and it was "King Kong ain't got nuttin' on me!"? I rememeber watching the film, and being so excited when I realized the line was coming up. And then he said "shit". And in my opinion, the line lost everything. It was so much better in the cleaned-up version. It had such a great rhythm to it. king KONG ain't got NUTTIN' on ME. When he said shit, it did nothing for me, all the soul of the line seemed to have been sucked out.

Twitch: Thanks... maybe one day I'll have an impressive list like yours. Not likely, but I can dream. I really like the scoring system in this game... the most out of the Cave games. It really captured me once I fully understood it. Ketsui's is fun too, but the game is hard as nails. I want to throw the damn PCB at the wall everytime I play. ESPRade is likely next.

She's in Japan...bringing back a few games hopefully.

Alpha: I think the Rick James skit was by far the funniest thing on any media last year. Never gets old to me. It's funny b/c apparently that's how that dumb shit really acted back then! (May he rest in peace). You want something that's ben overdone? "BEST XXXX EVER!" Funny as shit when the fat comic guy in the Simpsons said it, weak as hell when all the inernet kids got a hold of it.

"Ain't got shit on me" is probably way more appropriate for that movie. Just my opinion. My friend wrote a song about wanking. There's a line in it that says, "Washington Monument has nothing on me."

Indeed. It came out when I was in Japan, and only a few people actually said it.... considering I have a much more limited number of native English speaking friends. Never really knew it was worn into the ground. There's a certain 'ignorance is bliss' benefit of living outside the US.
