That is sad that the school still hasn't resolved the "black mark" of the student...
Plus the fact that prior arrangements had been made between the father and the principal about letting him talk with his sons -- now had this been written down as a formal contract, then the school would have to honor the said agreement (unless the school's code of conduct strictly forbids of this type of agreement in the first place). Just plain ol' fashioned common sense here, folks...
Plus the fact that it took a week for the principal to meet in person with the mother to discuss this incident and not any time sooner shows that it would be deemed trival and not so important to other pressing issues at hand. Why not have had it taken care on "day one" before "shit really hit the fan" & the situation blows up in front of, gasp, the press? The press would have a field day with this story... ^_~
Sometime's an agreement by word of mouth ain't enough in some situations as what transpired here. Might as well chalk it up as one of life's many experiences growing up. As the old saying goes: Life ain't always fair...so be it.
The student's record really should be wiped clean and go on from there or just let it be and walk proud with your head held up high...
Yeah, the message board is a riot... ^_~
