2 ways:
1)the game has native controller support, but i believe your gamepad needs to be set to controllerid 0 in your gamepad configuration settings.

the best freakin program ever.
i run this all the time for a variety of purposes/controllers.
my favourite has got to be what i call "ppjoykey back to keyboard". ppjoykey emulates a joystick with your keyboard. xpadder emulates a keyboard with your joystick. run them together, and you can make one key on your keyboard actually press another key. it's funktastic

Hey thanks for the info. My problem is that BWR recognizes a few of the face buttons on my pad but it doesn't recognize the directional buttons so I can shoot but not move.
Maybe I'm just retarded but I didn't see anywhere to specify movement.
I'll definately try out xpadder when I get off work, looks like a useful program. Thanks a lot for the link
