Does such a thing exist comercially? My girlfriend says she saw one on Lik Sang a few years back, but her memory is notoriously bad. I'd love to have one, so I could use my beloved ASCII Fighter Stick SN for some DOJ based frolics...
Any information will be greatfully recieved.

Building one wouldn't be too hard. I already have SNES->USB and a working Playstation interface. It would be quite simply to do SNES->USB and SNES->Playstation all on the same board.
See my site at http://joystick.world3.net and PM me if you are interested in the code (still working on getting it ready for publication)...

Re: SNES to PS2 Controller Converter
I just got one of these today. It's called the S-P Promoter made and released by Game Source over 15 years ago (since way back the 90s). It even maps out the PlayStation's L2 and R2 buttons as select and start via a switch. These things seem quite elusive and rare and I never knew they even existed until recently. Except for a darker shade of grey and the connector, it looks identical to one of these: http://segaretro.org/S-S_Promoter
The only thing, if your software requires analog functions you may encounter some issues / non-compatibility. For those less technically inclined to building their own, I learned from another source (Satoshi Matrix) there's a guy based in Canada http://www.raphnet-tech.com/products/sn ... /index.php who manufactures and sells another variant of these awesome converters. Anyone interested in using the legendary SNES/SFC pads on the PSX/PS2 may want to consider him as an option.

If you're handy with a soldering iron and can find someone to program the atiny2313, you can build one pretty easy
