Yuu Yuu Hakusho MD question

There seems to be 2 versions of the game, a 100$ one, and a 30$ one.

What's the difference? Same game? Anyone familiar with this?

Yuu Yuu Hakusho Gaiden is a really boring RPG/text adventure game that pretty much requires functional Japanese reading ability.
Yuu Yuu Hakusho Makyo Toitsusen is a decent 4-player fighting game made by Treasure that hasn't aged well graphically.

I'd say this version of Yu Yu Hakusho is one of the greatest fighters ever (easily my all time favorite mega drive game)! The game may not have the most impressive visuals these days but plays exceptionally well. Four player simultaneous battle (using multi-tap adapter) is an unbeatable experience.

The game is quite rare and thus usually fetches for around $80-100.

What azmun said. The graphics aren't that good for today standards, but the game is awesomely awesome. It's like Guardian Heroes' battle mode but a LOT MORE balanced, with proper characters and combos.
