Truxton PCB revisions NOT
I just got a Truxton PCB, but it was made in 1992. Taito's name is not screened on the board, just typed on a sticker. Was this a later revision done by some other company for Taito?
Thanks in advance for any info anyone might have.

Re: Truxton PCB revisions
That's interesting...is there anything updated in the game itself, especially the onscreen copyright date?

No, they're different. That board's copyright message is visible in one of the screenies; it's Taito America 1988.
Your board doesn't have the yellow stickers on that PCB, either.
Yours also has a little white sticker with a circle and some text on it, two chips above the motorola CPU and just under a ROM labeled B65 11.
Anyway, I checked out MAME, and there is a territory/COPYRIGHT setting in the DIP switch selection. All of these show Taito somewhere.
I wouldn't be surprised if your copy is a bootleg - that white sticker in particular seems familiar.
It would be great to see the title screen on your board :)

Did you see any differences other than stickers? I think they are the same board. I wrote the guy on ebay to see if there is a date on the pcb other than 1988. Waiting for an answer.

Hmm I don't think that's a boot. They are the same board
Here is another on the System16 site (click on PCB Picture)

BUT yours may have been serviced. Is that a point-to-point soldered wire I note in the bottom right corner of your photo?
