OK, but at least there was a location test ver according to the info I've read.
So it was like this, in the late 1990 at Taito's arcade in Tokyo (Taito also seemed to be a publisher of the game) a location test was held, the game had a similar system to the original but featured 2P simultaneous play (2P was a woman fighter) and had like Japanese style scenery (like Torii; a gate at the entry to a shrine and the forrest) instead of sci-fi theme that the original had. The game wasn't released in Japan after all but there was overseas release....
Then I thought, we might be able to see it on MAME (who could dump a unreleased game like "Chimera Beast"?)
