I would guess that the card is more likely based on Mambo, a fish character from the Parodius games - there are a handful of other YGO cards based on Gradius and Parodius (they were mentioned in a thread WAY back when).Mortificator wrote:Manbow's really good. I think that Dimahoo is seriously underated in the forums. I think there are zero reviews on the internet of it too. Kinda weird, being a Raizing game and all.

Mambo from Parodius probably is based on Space Manbow anyway. Rapid Hero. Haven't played it in a while since I'm busy with my own game but the action is very good. It has what Psikyo* games lack - non-stop action.
Note to Rob: I find most shmups lacking in non-stop action but I mention Psikyo specifically because Rapid Hero seems to borrow a lot from their games.

Haha. I'm not sure what makes Rapid Hero have more nonstop action, though. It kind of has the appearance of more action with the enemy swarms?
