...and 500% better than Gradius V, if price is linearly proportional to how good it is (obviously not true :p )

Anyway... I just won Choushin heiki Zeroigar on eBay.
Eek... and it's my very first ever game that cost me over the magic $100 (and only the second to cost me over $60).

Don't expect any gameplay impressions from me for a while though, I'll probably need a month to recover enough to buy a PC-FX so I can actually play it :(

With this, I'll have finally entered the ranks of collectordom!

Better than RSG? Er, not a chance based on what I have heard. It is supposed to be somewhat fun though.

I look forward to your impressions. The visuals look interesting. Shame NEC made the PCFX hardware so weird.

It's not a terrible game. $100 is a bit pricey, but not TOO insane I guess. It's not like there are tons of people seeling PC-FX games...especially the rare ones.

What's the gameplay comparable to? It only has one weapon, an upgradeable spreadshot, right?

You want to get a look at what you just purchased, iatneH?

Go to:

Download Episode 4 and go to time marker 4:58.

Thanks for the info, Kiken, I don't know why I didn't come across these before since I knew of the site...

It was actually closer to the $200 mark... but too late for second thoughts now, need to focus on getting a system to play it on.

The magic engine crew is actually working on a PC-FX emulator. If it's half as good as Magic Engine, it'll be worth the $18 or whatever they charge. High compatibility, configurability, and a nice GUI. Not sure when it'll be out though.
