Ok.. maybe some of you have seen this, but I just found this viral campaign from McDonald's Japan:

Unless I'm greatly mistaken, isn't the (first) melody from one of the Touhou games? How odd.

According to the description alongside the video, it's from EoSD.

You sure this is "official?" It looks like something that some bored person would have strung together more than an advertisement...

It isn't official. Remixing Ronald McDonald videos with other stuff is a trend on Nicovideo these days.

That song is "U.N Owen was her?", Flandre's song from EoSD. But far, FAR from official anything.

Actually the original video originated from here. I spotted a few Donald Duck videos in Japanese too, and they are hilarious.

Looking into it more, AFAIK it seems to be 'semi-official' ... as in, McDonalds created the orig. video and invited remixes. Guess some Touhou fan out there just decided to do this one. A bit strange since I found this linked from computerlove, not the place where I would expect to see something shmup-related.

No, they didn't "invite" remixes. It isn't official at all, it's just a MAD someone did on nicovideo.
