The box art reminds me of the infamous Megaman 1 picture, I dunno why. It's not as bad.

I've played this on an emulator a long time ago.

The funny thing is that the "Super" prefix was added for the SNES version, and they brought it along to the GG version for some reason.

I had this back in the day. I think Acclaim or DoMark or one of those weird publishers brought it out here in the US.

Pretty dire if you ask me...then again, I didn't really care much for the Game Gear's selection of games. They just had a weird look/feel to them that I found strangely unappealing.
