Tornadoes all over the place!

Post by Asherdude »

It doesn't look like I'll get any sleep tonight. So far, I've had 2 tornado warnings in my home town of Ft Smith and the first one was the several miles across on radar, but it didn't drop out of the clouds. But that didn't stop it from dropping tennis sized hail - the largest that I've ever seen. The onslaught created this horrendous roar. It scared the hell out of the TV station and they left their desks with the camera's still on. If I wasn't so scared too, I probably would have laughed.

No injuries, but there's broken glass everywhere and a several destroyed houses (from hail). In fact, they just announced that the schools are going to be closed tomorrow. My house is OK, but my Mustang lost a tail light and both mirrors.

Here's a screen shot of my desktop radar.

So far, I haven't lost power, but the nights not over yet.

Oh goodie, Im leaving Springfield this morning for Branson & the MO/ARK line on business.

Im thinkin' Im gonna getsa soakin' Mr. Bennie!

Speaking of which, it seems the storms are rolling in. We just lost power for a minute so its probably a good idea to unplug my electronics b4 it gets too bad.
Actually, maybe if I leave 'em plug in they wont fly away when the twister hits.
Nah, itll just take the whole house. If I leave 'em plugged in maybe I can keep it all together.

See ya!!! :?
