Countries in the Forum
Out of curiosity, has there ever been a count of how many different countries are represented in this forum?
Off the top of my head:
USA
Canada
Japan
Brazil
Argentina
England
Scotland
Ireland
Iceland
PR - Puerto Rico?
Finland
France
Germany
Sweden
India
Spain

I am from England origonally but moved into the USA during April 2000.
I would say the majority of people here are either from UK or the US although maybe 10-15% are from other European and South American regions.
I think alot of the people from Japan are actually US or British that moved there, I don't believe we actually have true Japanese natives on here.

This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.

The following list may contain several errors - judging location by IP address is far from reliable, but for April the following countries were represented, in order of traffic. The US by the way, or places the stats program thinks are American, is almost 60% of all traffic - I suspect it gets confused by large multi country ISPs like AOL. Some of the really obscure ones may simply be web spiders indexing stuff. Argentina is the last one on the list with any kind of real activity.

Traffic doesn't mean it's a member of the forum visiting. Maybe there are people who just come, read a thread and leave.
I think Ilmrm is more curious about what different countries are represented here through the member.
I know that besides me, there are at least 2 more Brazilian members here - R-Typer and Stormwatch. But I think R-Typer hasn't been active here for a while now.

I'd love to visit Wales! I've heard that it has more Castles per square kilometer then anywhere else in Europe!SheSaidDutch wrote:Pontypridd near CardiffEx_Mosquito wrote:Im from South Wales, UK

Where are you to Ex Mosquito?, I thought for some reason you were in England or something.

It's great to see so many people on this forum from so many different countries! BTW, who are the Irish members? I'm part Irish, English, German, and Scottish myself.
OT, funny but true story-one of my German ancestors had to leave the country back in the late 1800's because he was hunting and he shot a game warden in the ass!

I was in Newport on saturday down Le Pub.
A band from San Francisco were saying about how much sheep and fields are here over inthe UK esp the mountains and of course the expense of the bridge toll fee and petrol.

And there was also "Inside a computer"(sorry can't remember which member that was, but it caught my eyes).
SheSaidDutch: The Golden Gate Bridge toll is five dollars, and the Bay Bridge is three dollars. Just a couple of weeks ago, someone robbed and shot a toll collector at the Golden Gate Bridge. He tried to take off but his stolen car stalled, so he fleed on foot. He was chased by a bridge security officer, who the bad guy shot at, missed and the officer returned fire, hitting the bad guy in the leg. It was big news over here. Now they posted an armed guard right at the booths.
I never thought someone would be that insane to rob the Golden Gate Bridge, since security is tight as hell since 9/11. There's the California Highway Patrol, the Federal Park Police, SFPD, Golden Gate Bridge Security, USCG and I don't know if the National Guard is still there.
The bridge is also one of the most popular suicide places.

You wouldn't say that if you'd actually been there.dave4shmups wrote:I'd love to visit Wales! I've heard that it has more Castles per square kilometer then anywhere else in Europe!

Be attitude for gains:

And a shameless plug for the stuff I'm selling on eBay, if you're into that sort of thing.

Wales is probably the most non-flat place in the UK, hence there are so many sheep.
